The Others

One-offs, stray ideas, and creative experiments.

Weird, photoshopped image that makes no sense out of context.

Side Hustle Songs

During the pandemic, my wife and I started a business around an enrichment dog toy we invented: the Piggle.

To help grow our audience, educate dog owners, and establish authority around canine enrichment, we began to make a genre-hopping album of songs. However, we had to stop after two. Long story.

Each song focused on a specific behavior and paired with snappy copy to help explain why dogs do what they do.

And no, we did not use AI to produce the songs. We worked with real, fully sentient, carbon-based composers, singers, and a stellar audio engineer to bring them to life.

Why do dogs get the zoomies?
They need a fast, full-body release of sudden surges of stored energy and feels—i.e. emotional spiraling during bath time.

Why do dogs beg?
Evolution taught them that human food is a high-value, unpredictable jackpot. And they know they miss 100% of the shots they don’t take.

Save the Miamians

Miami is slowly drowning from rising sea levels caused by global warming. So my friends and I thought, "Why not add them to the endangered species list?" Doing so would require our leaders to protect Miamians the same way it would any other endangered plant or animal—which in this case means tackling climate change.

The agency we worked for at the time was so close to creating the campaign, but like many things in advertising it got the ax. So we decided to make it ourselves. We created a website where people could sign our petition to get our nation’s leaders act in a meaningful way, some ads, an open letter to Marco Rubio.

Our hope had been to create a mockumentary centered around the idea of moving the city of Miami somewhere safer. However, we were unable to gain traction, and things fizzled out. One day…Until then, here are a few of the ads we made.

Fresh Step

Some ads I helped create while freelancing to announce Fresh Step’s “low tracking litter.”

Bottom up view of a cat to see its paws. Headline reads, "What happens in the litter box, stays in the litter box." Body copy reads, "New low tracking litter. Let's make litter less of a mess. Let's start fresh."
