The Dog Guy Documentary

I’ve never ever made a documentary before. Ever. But Paul Crowell’s incredible story didn’t care about my résumé, and neither did I. So I learned by doing—asking tons of questions, assembling a tiny, committed team across Atlanta, San Francisco, and, eventually, Japan (long story), to figure it out.

What started as an idea became a film. Along the way, Paul’s story reached far beyond our tiny crew, including a feature on The Dodo. As of January 2026, we’re in final post. Mixing, color, and preparing festival submissions—with the goal of getting as many eyes on Paul’s journey as possible.
